Temporary Farm Bus

General Information:

The bus will be used solely for the transportation of agricultural employees, and used only in the transportation of such employees as are necessary in the operation of the farm.

Registrant Eligibility:

These plates may be issued to any Ohio motorist. Applicant must complete BMV Form 4816 (Statement/Affidavit For Registration). Only issued for a period of 90 days. May be issued for an additional 90-day period, but may not be issued for more than two 90-day periods in any licensing year.

Title Requirements:

Ohio Certificate of Title issued in individual's name, either singly or jointly, or the name is the same name on the lease agreement.

Vehicle Information:

These plates may be issued to any vehicle registered as a bus.

Type of Plates:

System assigned plates only.

Issuance Information:

Plates must be obtained through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Columbus. These plates cannot be issued by a deputy registrar agency.

Cost:

There are no additional fees. The fee is determined by Ohio Revised Code section 4503.04 K(3).
