General Information:

Buses that are used to transport persons 65 years or older.

Registrant Eligibility:

These plates may be issued to any Ohio motorist. Applicant must complete form BMV 4816 (Statement/Affidavit for Registration).

Title Requirements:

Ohio Certificate of Title issued in individual's name, either singly or jointly, or the name is the same name on the lease agreement.

Vehicle Information:

These plates may be issued to only vehicles registered as a bus.

Type of Plates:

System assigned plates only.

Issuance Information:

Plates must be obtained through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Columbus. These plates cannot be issued by a deputy registrar agency.

Cost:

There are no additional fees. The fee is determined by Ohio Revised Code section 4503.04 H (7).
