General Information: |
The owner of a school bus under
contract with the board of education may, upon proper application for
registration and the payment of the required fee, use such bus during summer
vacation periods to transport children and their authorized supervisors to
and from any camping function sponsored by a nonprofit organization.

Registrant Eligibility:

The applicant must submit the
following:

name of school board

school address
-
contractor's name and address
-
signature of authorized
official
-
description of vehicle
-
owner of school bus
-
school bus license number
-
name and address of lessee
-
certificate from the State
Highway Patrol

must be signed and notarized

Title Requirements: |
Ohio Certificate of Title issued
in the name of the organization, either singly, jointly or the name is the
same name on the lease agreement. |

Vehicle Information: |
These plates may be issued to any
vehicle registered as a bus. |
|
Type of Plates: |
System assigned plates. |

Issuance Information: |
Applicant must submit form
BMV 4816
(Statement/ Affidavit for Registration). |

Cost: |
There are no additional fees. The
fee is determined by Ohio Revised Code section 4503.17. |
