Ambulette
license plates may be issued to any Ohio resident. |

Certificate and Vehicle List. |

Vehicle Information: |
These plates may be issued to
passenger vehicles, trucks, noncommercial trucks, recreational vehicles and
buses. |

Type of Plates: |
System assigned plates.
All ambulette license plates will have the word "AMBULETTE"
printed directly on the plate. Special interest plates can not be issued
to ambulettes. No personalized or initial reserve. |

Issuance Information: |
Ambulette
license plates may be ordered
at any
deputy registrar's office.
If plates are ordered at a
deputy registrar's office, the deputy will issue a registration card and validation
stickers and provide the customer with a window permit. This window permit
will allow the customer to operate their vehicle while their plates are
being manufactured. All plates will be mailed to the customer at the
address listed on the registration card.

Cost: |
There is an annual fee for Ambulette license plates of $7.50,
in addition to normal registration fees. The fee is determined by Ohio
Revised Code, Section
4503.49. |
