Weapon on School
Property
Ohio Revised Code Section 2923.122
Cause
Any person under the age of 19 years old who is adjudicated or convicted of
conveying onto, or possessing on, school property a deadly weapon or dangerous ordinance.
Length of
Suspension
Twelve (12) to Thirty-six (36) months.
Appeal Procedures:
Appeal
of conviction is made to the court from which the conviction was imposed.
Appeal
for modified driving privileges is also made through the court from which the conviction
was imposed.
Reinstatement Requirements
In addition to serving the
suspension time a thirty dollar ($30.00) reinstatement fee is required. (Per H.B. 210)
