The purpose of this notice is to inform dealers
how to correctly complete the new temporary tag. Many tags that have been
issued are not legible or cannot be seen by law enforcement from 5 to 10 feet
away.
The CORRECT
and ONLY way to complete the new temporary tag:

Use PERMANENT,
THICK, BOLD, BLACK MARKER |

2. |
Write over
silver hologram, filling entire square area provided |
|
3. |
Letters
and numbers should be as tall as the box provided |
INCORRECT ways of
completing the new temporary tag:

DO NOT use a ballpoint
pen or thin tipped marker.
DO NOT write on hologram
only. Use entire box provided. |

DO NOT write above hologram only.
PLEASE REMEMBER
the temporary tag must be clearly visible to law enforcement from a
reasonable distance away. |
