Requirements & Instructions: |

The
characteristics of the facilities shall consist of a minimum area of
50,000 square feet. The area must be shielded by a fence between six (6') and
ten feet
(10')
in height that shields the premises from ordinary view. A living hedge of
sufficient size and density to prevent view of the premises may be
substituted for the fence, and may exceed the ten foot height limitation.

All inventory
of the business shall be stored behind the fence to promote and preserve a
positive visual impact of the salvage yard's business on the surrounding
neighborhood.

The business
office shall be in a building of at least 225 square feet. It shall
consist of an area devoted to sales transactions, and an office to
maintain records required to operate the business.

A permanent
sign in the exact business name as it appears on the application, with
letters of at least six inches
(6")
high. The business sign shall be prominently displayed at or near the
entrance of the facility.

Business
hours must be posted in plain view.

The facility
shall be open and attended by someone who may reasonably assist a retail
customer during the posted business hours.

Financial
statement information, indicating a net worth of at least $20,000.

Photograph of
the business location showing a suitable sign in the exact name of the
business as it reads on the application.

License Eligibility:

Any felony conviction or
any misdemeanor conviction related to dealing in salvage motor vehicles is
reason for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles to
DENY the application. |

Inspections: |
An on-site inspection of the premises will
be conducted by a BMV investigator to determine if the location meets all
physical requirements. Thereafter, the dealership is subject to random
inspections, including pertinent records, to confirm that compliance is
being maintained. |
