The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles has a "FAX-N-GO" service available. Motor vehicle dealers may place an order for temporary tags by facsimile, in advance, by using the "FAX-N-GO" service. Orders received a day in advance will be available for pick-up the next business day with a shortened wait time.

Payment is due at time of pick-up at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus. Checks should be made payable to: Ohio Treasurer Kevin L. Boyce. To check the status of a faxed order you may call the Temporary Tag Unit at (614) 752-7880. Business hours are 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday.  The Customer Service Center is closed on Mondays.
