Learn the Facts about Organ, Eye and Tissue Donation - It costs nothing, it means everything.


Customers can sign up for organ donation at their local deputy registrar - How to Register in Ohio -The opportunity to impact lives starts with a personal commitment to be an organ, eye and tissue donor. By signing up in the Ohio Donor Registry at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, online, or through a mail-in paper enrollment form, you are making an advance directive to donate life at the time of your death.

Save Our Sight

The focus of the Save Our Sight Fund is to provide early detection of vision problems and the promotion of good eye health and safety.

When Ohioans apply for or renew their license plates, they will be asked if they want to contribute $1 to the fund and it will be added to their fee.

Money raised:
1. Protective eyewear for youth sports and school activities and preventing eye injuries
2. Support to children with amblyopia (lazy eye) through the Ohio Amblyope Registry
3. Vision screening of children through training and equipping of screeners
4. Eye health and safety programs for our schools
